Family is important. The things that bring families together are building blocks that make us stronger while creating life-long memories. Among them are holidays, birthdays, illnesses, graduations, weddings, births, and deaths. In my Glover-Williams and Ligon-Glover gatherings, Food is always the common denominator. Regardless of opinions and attitudes, without failure, we all come to the table when the call to eat is made.
The impetus for me writing this book is two-fold. One is to learn more about my family. The other is my desire to bring the maternal and paternal sides of my family together. The best way of doing that is at the table.
